Oysterville Church Improvements

October 9, 2018 by Paul Staub

Spring and Summer 2018 have seen considerable work on the historic Oysterville Church. In April, contractor Gary Baker & Son replaced the cedar walkway, porch floor, and repaired porch railings.  In June, wood gutters were installed on the west side by Dry Coast Gutters.  These will help protect the building from rainwater running down the siding and windows.

During the busy summer wedding and church Vespers events, church work was put on hold.  Then in early September, the energetic crew of All About Painting came to work on the Church.  This group of hard working individuals did a great job of washing/preparing/painting the picket fence and Church.  For a short video of their work see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg5810cT6WU

The funding for these improvements came from the Oysterville Restoration Foundation general fund.
