The ORF Trustees
The ORF Board is made up five Trustees. Trustees are elected by the membership for three-year terms, which may be renewed. A Trustee must own property within the National Historic District. One Trustee must be an active member of the Oysterville Design Review Board and serve as a Board Liaison. Nominations are made at the time of the annual meeting as positions open. Specific Board roles are voted on by the Trustees. The current Trustees are:
Tucker Wachsmuth - President
Jean Stamper - Vice President
Nyel Stevens - Treasurer / ODRB Liaison
Paul Staub - Secretary
Robert Thurston
If you are interested in serving on the ORF Board, please attend the Annual ORF Membership Meeting (10:00am Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at the Oysterville Church). If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, submit your name to any of the Trustees or any active member for nomination. Names will be voted on by the membership.
The Trustees are supported in their efforts by members of the community who serve on both ad hoc and standing committees. We are always in need of volunteers. Please contact any of the Trustees if you are interested in participating in some capacity.
Currently, Anne Kepner serves on the Finance Committee, keeping track of our investments and updating the Board at regular meetings. Anne de Marcken maintains this website. Also, our work would be impossible without the ongoing work of Sydney Stevens in her role as "Church Reservationist." We are perennially (no pun intended) grateful to Larry Freshley for his work to refresh and maintain the landscaped areas of ORF's properties, including the village entrance and the Church grounds.
